Mega-Rust Siam collects only the minimum data needed to run the server and the account services on this website.

What We Collect

From Steam login

When you log in with Steam, we receive your Steam ID, username, and avatar URL from Steam's authentication service. These are all public information from your Steam profile.

From in-game activity

While you play on our servers, the game and our plugins record:

  • Connection events (when you join/leave)
  • Combat events (PvP kills, deaths, damage logs) — used for stats, leaderboards, and anti-cheat
  • Resource and structure stats — used for leaderboards

From Discord (only when you link it)

When you choose to link Discord via our website, we receive your Discord ID and Discord username. We do not access your private messages, friend list, or other servers. You can unlink at any time from your profile.

From payments

When you topup:

  • PromptPay — we save the bank transfer slip you upload, and the transaction reference
  • Stripe — Stripe processes the card; we receive only a transaction ID and the last 4 digits (we never see or store the full card number)

What We Use It For

  • Account services — login, MegaCoin/MegaPoint wallet, VIP, kit delivery
  • Stats and leaderboards — public KD/playtime/structure stats on the Scoreboard
  • Moderation — investigating reports, applying bans for rule violations
  • Notifications — Discord DM when your topup completes, level up, etc. (if Discord linked)
  • Anti-cheat — pattern detection from in-game logs

What We Don't Do

  • We don't sell your data to third parties
  • We don't share data with advertisers
  • We don't send marketing email or SMS (we don't collect your email or phone)

Third-Party Services

We rely on these services (each has its own privacy policy):

  • Steam — login authentication
  • Discord — bot for notifications and role assignment (when linked)
  • Stripe — card payment processing
  • PromptPay / your bank — Thai bank transfers

Your Choices

  • Unlink Discord — from your Profile page at any time
  • Stop playing — your data stays but no new data is collected
  • Account deletion or data export — contact Admin on Discord
